The Company

IVAT, located in the heart of Tuscany and founded in 1987, occupies over 10,000 square meters and distributes paints for automotive repair and industry worldwide.

Synonymous with quality for over thirty years, IVAT is committed to developing products to meet the diverse needs of customers, covering sectors ranging from do-it-yourself to industry, with a particular focus on professional vehicle repair.

IVAT is always at the forefront of offering innovative and eco-sustainable solutions.

From high solid products to solvent tinting systems like Jackal for automotive bodywork and EvoPerm for industry, to the development and production of the water-based tinting system Quosh, IVAT aims to reduce environmental impact without compromising performance.

IVAT's Research and Development laboratory enables the creation of new technological products and constant updating of tinting systems.

The internally developed COLOR PILOT software, along with the COLORFOX spectrophotometer, simplifies color research and reproduction for automotive industry professionals.

At IVAT's technical center, professionals can participate in painting courses to learn how to use products correctly and effectively.

1987

Amedeo Gatto founded IVAT, a company distinguished in the production of high-quality industrial paints.

1997

Expansion of the plant, establishment of the logistics center, and the creation of "Full System 63", the world's first multipurpose tinting system for automotive bodywork and industry.

2007

IVAT inaugurates a research and training center.

2008

The water-based system for automotive bodywork "QUOSH" is born, developed internally to ensure technological excellence.

2014

The ColorFox is introduced, a portable spectrophotometer designed to facilitate color research and correction in the automotive repair sector.

2016

IVAT introduces the EvoPerm line, a concentrated color base system designed exclusively for industrial use, strengthening its commitment to offering advanced solutions to its customers.

2018

Creation of the Color Driver repertoire, including over 8000 shades in gradation.

2022

IVAT acquires the brands of Beta Color company and introduces the Color Driver Plus, a complete collection of over 6000 base colors and variants, confirming its commitment to providing comprehensive and high-quality solutions.

2024

COLORING THE WORLD completes the acquisition of IVAT COATINGS srl.
